Oral presentation

As I said before, Im reading the Picture of Dorian Gray it's a science fiction book that I DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL. The relation between the book and my oral presentation has to do with art especially painting, the book talks about how does painting influences the soul of persons. There have been many cases in real life as shown in the book, what I'll be trying to do in my presentation is to look for how does a physical object can influence persons. I hope I will find sources for my presentation.

If I were Basil Hallward ?

As I said before Basil Hallward is a painter influenced by his friend Dorian Gray. If I were Basil Hallward from The Picture Of Dorian Gray, I would write in my dairies more about my life, because in the book Basil keeps talking about his mysterious friend Dorian Gray and the portrait that the draws and he never talks about his self, I would write more about my family, my childhood  my origins, and the most important thing my character, Basil has such good character, being a talented artist without being known, always looking for what is good for the others before himself.
Finally, I would write about one of the main character of the book which is Dorian Gray, the reason why he influenced my art, my life and even more my soul, he brought a touch to my life changing the way I think and the way I react when he is next to me

Government Shouldn’t Subsidize Everything

According to the article “ Government shouldn’t subsidize everything” by Froma
Harrop published in the Province Journal co, Government controls the peoples
choice. Citizens in the U.S.A. don’t chose whether they want to do something or not, they get gently pushed to take that decision. The author concentrates more on health and medical care, he states that the government shouldn’t subsidize health care because it can provide privileges for the poor ones, it can fill up their needs, but for the rich ones it is just a plus to their fortune.

Personally, I think that the author is completely right about what he is saying.
There are many reasons why I believe this, one of those reasons is the government should put percentages about how much they pay for health care for every society class, they should pay less for rich ones and more for the poor class.
So it’s clear to me that government is subsidizing everything and this really has to be changed in a way or another.

Subsidize : support an organization or activity
It was beyond the power of a state to subsidize a buisness

The book that I'm reading right now is The Picture Of Doria Gray, it is a fascinating book.
In the first 2chapters there are only 3 characters who are presented, Dorian Gray, Basil Hallward and Lord Henry.
The character that fascinated me the most is Basil Hallward, he is described as a handsome tall man, black long hair, skinny.
The reason why I chose this character it's because the way he see life, he's an excellent painter thus he doesn't want to be famous, he painted wonderful painting but he doesn't want to exhibit them because he put to much of himself on his work.
Basil is impressed by Dorian's beauty and becomes infatuated with him, believing his beauty is responsible for a new mode in his art.
I like Basils view of things, it's different from others views, i'd like to be friend with him so i could share the same view of life.

Green tea blocks lung cancer

Accoring to  David Gutierrez in NaturalNews, drinking a cup of tea a day may significantly decrease a person's risk of lung cancer, researchers now are studying tea for possible use in the prevention and treatment of a variety of cancers.
Researchers found out that the rate of Cancer is verry low in Asia and this is due to the tea consumation, laboratory studies suggested that the polyphenols in green tea can halt the growth of cancer cells. however the benefits of the tea can not outweight the danger caused by smoking, tobacco fills your lungs with around 80 cancer-causing chemicals.

It's clear to me that drinkin a cup of tea each day could be verry hellpful tu avoid lung cancer and also avoid smoking. The best thing a smoker can do to reduce their risk of lung cancer, and more than a dozen other cancer types, is to quit.

THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY

The picture of Dorian Gray is a science fiction book written by Oscar Wild, it contains 520 pages.
Back to the nineties, in a beautiful sunny morning of spring, Lord Henry Wottom (one of the main characters) visited the painter Basil Hallward (main character) in his house, they sat in a beautiful garden and started arguing about the exhibition of the painting who painted Basil to Grosvenor University, he refused to sent it because he putted so much of himself in the painting.
The painting is the portrait of Dorian Gray, Basil's secret friend, Basil is impressed by Dorian's beauty and becomes infatuated with him, he describes him as a respectable handsome man.
After reading the first chapter, the author create an atmosphere of suspense which make the reading more exciting, Basils do his best to avoid talking about his reason for not exhibiting his painting, and the mysterious friend Dorian Gray who didn't appeared in the first chapter

Free, Safe and Secure Disposal For Unwanted Medications.

A- According to the article Free, Safe and Secure Disposal For Unwanted Medications from The Thurson-Mason Senior news, flushing unwanted and expired medications in the toilet may be a risk to human health and the environment because the plants do not filter out medications and it can cause water contamination.According to the article again studies have found that in Wa state more than 9.6million of medications need to be disposed out of the state, most of these unwanted prescription medications are misused or obtained illegaly, but there are some communities that provide take-back programs.

B- I stongly believe that flushing medications and drugs in the toilet may cause a lot of problems like water contamination, but i also think that this problem can be resolved, there are some solutions like making people aware of the problem of water contamination, only buying what we need.

C-Hazardous : involving great risk
Ex: Drugs are considered Hazardous Materials

Leachate: The liquid produced when water percolates through any permeable material
Ex: Plants can not filter leachate.

Misused: used incorrectly or carelessly or for an improper purpose
Ex:  misused words are often laughable but one weeps for misused talents

Introduction

My name is Othmane Zaki Messouli you can call me Zak, I’m from Morocco, it is located in North Africa.  I used to live in Marrakech also called the red city, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco it has one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world. I have one brother his name is Mahdi and one sister her name is Cheimaa.
I studied and graduated in Morocco, I went to a primary school, middle school then high school, studying in Morocco is very difficult you have to study in different languages depending on the subjects, English is my fourth language, I speak Morrocans, Arabic and French. One of my biggest weaknesses is English being my fourth language, in other words I tend to translate everything automatically from English to Arabic or French in order to better understand.
I came to the United States with a Moroccan friend two weeks ago, this is my first time in the United States, it’s very different from what we see in the movies, I didn’t get the chance to visit Seattle yet, I live in Tahuya for the moment it’s 80 miles away from Seattle but I’m moving next week to Seattle. I am very good at playing tennis but I stopped playing for a while now, I like listening to music especially rock music Led zeppelin, the doors, rolling stones…
